How would you like to be part of an exhibition regardless of your artistic ability?
The Idea
100 Artists in Residence is a celebration of all artistic mediums within our community. It encourages any form; painting, sculpture, photography, poetry… whatever you want to create. It might not even exist – perhaps it could even be a link to something thoughtful found online. It’s your call.
The idea is to fill Kingston-Upon-Thames, Surbiton, Tolworth and beyond with small pieces of ‘hidden’ art. 100 AIR gives you the opportunity to create new art moments and encourage others to seek out and discover your work.
Then, the climax will be an exhibition, from the 1st – 10th May 2020, displaying everyone’s secret art allowing you and everyone else to become an ‘artist in residence’.
How do I get involved?
Prior to the exhibition we’d love for you to create an ephemeral piece of art (no bigger than can be held in your hand). There’s no skill level required; just bags of enthusiasm and a willingness to create.
